This is the draft of the Ordinance. Dg we have unanimously approved City Council at its meeting today. It is the result of mediation between the center-right and center-left, which took place Tuesday during the meeting of the Traffic and Road which was also attended by a few leaders willing. What follows is a paragraph was added concerning the renovation of the parking spaces reserved for disabled people in the bus and the unification of the rules for the payment of "blue lines".

AGENDA ON THE ROAD AND TRAFFIC '


City Council at the conclusion of the debate took place in court on traffic and transportation in the city;




CIRCUMSTANCES

• that the matter of urban traffic is high priority for the city's development and therefore must be treated organically with the procedures for the approval of the instruments of transportation planning;



• CONSIDERING that for a proper planning process is necessary take account of the particular shape of the city and urban presence, seamless, of a vast area that now has about 400,000 inhabitants;

STILL CONSIDERED

• The essential contribution of divisions, of the productive sectors and all citizens In designing the new strategy of urban traffic, that will have as its objectives the encouragement of the use of public transport, the two-wheeled vehicles, pollution control and, above all, a vast campaign of education for sustainable mobility


• VIEW
that pending proceeding organically in the planning, not just return to the Council on General Plan of Urban Traffic, fully in keeping with the strategic objectives to be expressed, however, necessary to adopt appropriate measures to improve the system of urban mobility;

MAYOR PLEDGES AND RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING INTERVENTIONS

• start with the divisions, categories and productive citizens in a debate the extension of pedestrian zones, with remodeling and timing characteristics of ZTL, the use of public transport, conversion of the fleet of the City and its subsidiaries act to reduce pollution and to enable their use people with disabilities, the use of two-wheeled vehicles, particularly bicycles;
• District to study together the possibility of establishing in the district to stop Villanova Areas Limited in place of the LTZ;
• experiment in May 2007, in the weekend, the first pedestrianization of certain streets in the old town (eg., Corso Vittorio Emanuele, via Sardinia and Naples via) the prospect of a gradual closure to traffic 24 hours 24 of the Marina district and large parts of the center;
• take initiatives to promote the use of two wheels in Town, both as an alternative to vehicles for tourist purposes, creating, as part of a more complete system, cycle routes covering the whole urban area, for example, via a route from Rome (at the station) to Poetto (via Viale Diaz) and another around the Old City; and to implement the recently approved a motion in Council on the same topic;
• monitor all road signs and poles for technical purposes in the city, assessing the legality and proper placement under current law. The outcome of this review will provide useful information to the Council for a possible updating of the Regulation;
• celebrate the day with a marathon of the green city and the closure to traffic of large areas of the city to raise awareness of the culture of green and environment;
• engage in the next budget amounts sufficient to achieve the planned roundabouts Administration;
• check the option to activate the services in the city's car sharing and car pooling;
