WHEREAS


Gen. Charles Sanna



• He left the course with honors from the Officers Academy of Modena,
• Command had several regiments of infantry and was later assigned to the Military Division of Cagliari;
• At the outbreak of ^ World War I, 56 years in command of the 13th Regiment. Infantry (Brigade "Pinerolo") took part in military operations on the Carso;
• With his regiment took the hill Selz, considered impregnable;
• In August 1915 he had command of the brigade Catanzaro;
• Appointed Major-General for meritorious war, was put in charge of the 33rd Division, which was also part of the valiant Sassari Brigade;
